Way back in December when I was setting New Year goals (gulp) injecting something new into my blog was high up on the list, and it’s taken me three months to finally get round to it! From now on my first post of the week will become Monday Musings, which will include anything that has caught my eye on the ‘New In’ sections, beauty products I’ve discovered or have been using forever, must-have bargains and sale spots, micro trends or red carpet styling – you get the idea.
So let’s get this week started! I’m definitely feeling the summer vibes at the moment and like to buy items to add to my summer wardrobe as and when they pop up, because they’re always the bits you miss out on and end up lusting after for the rest of the season. I love this Zara stripe turban headband I would rock this on the beach but also back home with jeans, a tee and of course, sunglasses. To accessorise this kind of outfit further I want to add some gold to my jewellery box this year and this medallion from Monica Vinader @ Liberty is the way I’ll be doing it, you can also find lots of variations on Etsy at really good price points.
When it comes to nail varnish I either go really bright or completely nude and I’m loving the orangey/red from OPI in Santa Monica Beach Peach, the contrast of that colour pop against these J Crew camo cargo jeans would be awesome, be quick because they’re defiantly going to sell out, but Topshop have a pair similar too. Speaking of Topshop make sure you check the website every day to see when the wooden grab tote bag comes back into stock, it’s a great way to get the Cult Gaia style at a fraction of the price.
I’m a shoe addict but since having kids pretty much live in trainers or a low heel if I’m being released for the evening! My Stan Smith’s are in desperate need of replacement, the washing machine just can’t give them that beautiful box fresh white anymore and I’m also in love with these kitten heels from Stradivarius, they have a little Dior vibe going on and I need them NOW!!
Take a peak at my Monday Musings below and I’ll see you same time next week…Have a good one.
